Just in.....don't miss this one! MOT to September 2025 (no advisories from last MOT) The car has had a braking system refresh carried out within recent months. This is a beautiful example of one off Britain's favourite classic cars (they are well loved across the rest of world too!). A Traveller from the very last batch to have left the production line (registered in August 1971), she is a previously fully restored car in the wonderful colour scheme of Bermuda blue in stunning order with contrasting trim in equally excellent condition, the all important (structural) woodwork having been replaced in 2021 (receipt present). She is extremely under the bonnet too. You will be very impressed by her. Please view the detailed walk around video for a very full description of this special old classic. Looking good is only one aspect of this car, she happens to drive extremely well too!..remarkably she has only covered a shade under 58 thousand miles...this is reflected in the condition of the car and having been fully refreshed within her 54 years. There is lots and lots of early service and repair invoices from the 1980's to collaborate her very low mileage, there is a large collection of old MOT's going back to the early 1990's and certainly al of the more recent MOT's too. There is even a little book of motoring expenses from the original owner detailing the fuel used from driving the car around both Hampshire and Dorset. The car is a very capable mover and being the last of the Minor's she is fitted with the most powerful version of the beloved A series BMC engine, the 1098cc. The later cars had stronger gearboxes than the early models and the relatively low mileage means the car remarkably seems to drive as if you had brought her decades ago! The condition of the car means she would be ideal for taking to classic car shows, or she could even be your daily driver as she very much up together and ready to delight!. Be prepared for lots of friendly attention, people will wave and children will smile as you drive past. If you are new to classic car ownership, you will be pleasantly surprised with the somewhat low running costs owning a vehicle such as this one shall bring, car insurance is often in the £100 to £200 price range (depending on the usual factors), the car is both road fund tax exempt and MOT exempt (albeit this one has been MOT'ed throughout the exemption period). The Minors are economical with a sensible MPG return and parts are plentiful and rather inexpensive...lots of specialists are on hand to keep these delightful little cars going strong. An excellent owners club exists and help is at hand for new owners of these special cars. We have sold many of these particular models over the years and we know how to look out for a good one, all the cars we sell go through our own highly respected classic car garage and they are fully checked over and prepared to the highest standard. We offer a highly competitive full UK delivery service (we require your postcode for a delivery quote), we can also part exchange in your existing classic/modern or light commercial vehicle, this can be collected when you car is delivered. We are based in the North Hampshire countryside in Overton (RG25), the M3 motorway is a 10 minute drive away, both the A303 and A34 are within a 10 minute drive too. Overton railway station is just a short walk from us should you decide to drive her home!
