The basis for this Aston Martin DB6 Shooting Brake was a DB6 from 1965, which was ordered by its first owner in Texas. According to the built sheet, the owner sent the car back to the factory to commission a Shooting Brake conversion. The design later won the heart of Formula 1 driver Innes Ireland, winner of the 1961 Lotus US Grand Prix, who bought the first of the three examples produced. Of this trio, only one left-hand drive DB6 Shooting Brake was converted by FLM Panelcraft: the DB6/2366/L chassis offered here. It is probably the only known left-hand drive example of only three vehicles of this type produced. The striking conversions by FLM – including a raised roofline, a two-part tailgate and opening side windows – not only make it more practical, but also give the car an unmistakable character.

With its unique history, this DB6 Shooting Brake is a true collector’s item and a symbol of British craftsmanship.

An extraordinary unique piece of British automotive history!
